Milwaukee River Smallies

A couple friends and I headed up to Milwaukee the other day to work on our spey casting and try our luck at some smallmouth fishing. It was my first time fishing the Milwaukee River for smallmouth and sure won’t be the last. Action was good until the sun got high and the day really started to heat up. Nothing too big, but quite a few 1-2 lb fish.
