Here’s a couple new flies I’ve been working on. Both flies are about 6 inches long, if I had longer materials I would have made bigger flies. I’ve yet to cast a fly on any good musky water, but one of my next outings I will be heading to Wisconsin in search of these toothy predators. A great source of info for catching musky with a fly rod is the book http://www.muskieontheflybook.com/ by author and angler Robert Tomes. A must read if your considering the challenge of catching these top predators with a fly rod.
